Design the lesson plan with clear standards and objectives; use the ABCD aproach.  

Be prepared with the material and stay organized. Retain material in a folder for future use or change of plans.  

Take time to know your strengths and weaknesses to allow yourself time to know what your lesson plan will be.   

I learned that being able to teach effectively is being prepared with all the necessary components to engage students.

Have the knowledge in what you are teaching and be a role model for students

I learned that there may be students who will challenge the system. Keep good communication and any disruptions that may occur in their file. Remind them of the guidelines also

Make it a personal experience with students to create an open and positive learning envrionment. By allowing them to see who you are gives them a connection to the faculty.

Always be open to updating content to keep learning exciting and desirable for students and instructors

Structure of content is key followed by knowledgeable instructors. I will be using feedback from students and instructors in order to keep the content up to date, fresh and inviting.
