Staying current on updated rules and policies is important. Keeping a list of links in your resource notebook helps accomplish this task. 

It is important to review all marketing materials and understand what is being advertised as well as understanding who plays what role at the institution. 

It's important to be very accurate with record keeping and inform the student of any and all fees and financial terms.

I’ve learned from this training that admissions representatives do much more than enroll students. Their role is to help prospective students make informed decisions by providing accurate, honest, and up-to-date information about academic programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, student support services, institutional policies, and career opportunities offered from the school’s programs. The training also reinforced the importance of maintaining compliance with Florida regulations, understanding course requirements and higher education terminology and staying informed about policy, program, and regulatory updates. Staying organized with resources and knowledgeable about marketing campaigns is essential to ensuring an efficient admissions process.
