I have learned to incorporate many different teaching styles and elements into my classes in order to allow for as many individuals as possible to have their learning styles met.

I learned how language and literacy are different, and how one can be fluent in a language, but lack knowledge in the use of that language academically. This definition is helpful, as it helps break the assumption that someone who speaks a language fluently does not need help developing their literacy throughout any course I may teach.

I am learning how new technology can be used to help students of many different cultural backgrounds find my teaching more accessible. I'm hoping this will help promote their success.

I have learned the beginnings of how to take an individual approach with students when teaching within a group and how to use different methods to make sure I am teaching holistically.
