Jason, Any time we can use one tool to assist the students and help us learn more about how to improve the course, the better. Thanks.
Katherine, The students do give us good information from their perspective. We can learn a lot from them. Thanks so much.
Katherine, Without the specific feedback, students can't improve. And, starting with a positive tone, set the tone for the whole class. Nice job.

Katherine, These all definitely relate to each other. We have to know who we are teaching and what we are teaching. This all leads to the learning objectives and the course expectations. Thanks for your input.

Aldgenette, And, remember that the rubric helps both the instructor and the students. Thanks for your post.
Aldgenette, Right on. The communication process goes beyond the instructor communicating with the students (I2S communication). Thanks for bringing that up.

Kimberly, We learn something new every day. I even tell my students I learn something new every day just to let them know they should be too. ;-) It's good we learn about our students in each courses. I do think each generation brings new ideas and changes to the work world. We have to continue to think also that the various generations will balance things as well. Think about "way back when" - who would have thought companies like Google would exist and have such flexibility for employees. Also, remember when IBM was all blue suits and white shirts… >>>

Aldgenette, You are right on target. Instructors must make sure students understand the expectations to help the move forward toward the learning objectives. The netiquette rules and student engagement can assist in reaching objectives as well. Thank you.,
