Mary, We all learn as we go. I never really understood what students felt until I took an online course. I did this to get the student experience. I learned so much about what to do and what NOT to do. Those are good lessons. Thakns for your input.

Tipton, I actually enjoy seeing the students' comments and revising the course to make it better each time I teach it. The qualitative follow-up interview is a great idea.

Developing Meaningful Feedback

Brian, I use the 24 hour rule as well. If students don't hear back from me in 24 hours, they know something is wrong. Thanks for your feedback in these forums.
