David, Correct. And, incorporating the learning outcomes in the rubric when breaking it down into components helps the students understand why they are doing what they are doing --> To achieve the learning outcomes, to transfer their knowledge to the workplace, etc. Thanks for your input.

Sunshine, Right on! Both students and instructors benefit. Thanks for continuing the conversation.

Eric, Yes, help both students and faculty. You can even involve the students in developing the rubrics so everyone is on the same page.
Discussion Comment
Joanna, The key is that rubrics help both instructors and students. Thanks!

Tanya, WOW! The continued conversation about professionalism is impressive. Thank you for being a professional role model.
Discussion Comment
Sunshine, So, true. You, as an instructor, serve as a guide, facilitator and role model. Keep communicating!
Sunshine, Audience analysis - important in any setting, but especially teaching. When you talk to students about their career, it's a professional career no matter what industry. So communication should be professional.
Christine, Yes, you have to evlauate the tool up front to make sure it will meet your needs. Accessibility is something that many people don't think about. Thanks for bringing that into the conversation.
Michelle, I agree. As long as we all understand the outcomes and how to connect them to the project/assignment, everyone can be involved. Many times this provides for a different perspective on what should be included/valued in the project/assignment. Thanks! Dr. Tena B. Crews
Rubiela, It's good to get a variety of feedback from various evaluations. Students and facilitators will provide different feedback. Nice job.
