Kristina, Glad you enjoyed the course and modules. BTW - honesty is the best policy. ;-]
Kristina, They are so helpful. And, I have had my students use Jing to make their own to support the class as well and I give them participation points for doing that. I ask students to make a video no more than 5 minutes that teaches someone how to do something that deals with the course content. Then, you can keep them for the next time you teach and begin to develop a "library" of support videos for the next students in the class.
Kristina, Anything you do to personalize the environment is excellent. Thanks for sharing.
Jacqueline, Good ideas. Thanks for the information and making us think about the resources you have provided. Thanks again.
Jennifer, We have to be lifelong learners to keep "up with the times" and technology. It's good to keep our options open. Thanks for sharing.
Bruce, Tone is so important. Students and instructors should both be careful with their tone. Thanks for your input.
DIANA , Thanks for sharing your experience and information. There are so many resources that we can access to help us devleop better more efficient rubrics.
DIANA , Yes, the key is in the criteria. They have to be developed so that they effectively refelct what needs to be assessed. Thank you.

DIANA , I have heard of large online universities using rubrics, but many times they are created by the instructional designers who are not familiar necessarily with the course content to the assignments/projects that may be a part of the course. This many times creates a disconnect between what is being taught and the asessement of the assignments/projects.
