Regardless of how much time and effort are spent on preparing a course, it not until you deploy the course and work through the content, delivery, and technology that issues arise. There is always room for improvement, even in the most thoughtfully developed courses. Feedback provided by students can provide a framework of revision necessary for course improvement. All course components should be examined to make the course a better one the next time it is offered.

This is one of the most important comments of the class.  I work for a college that we have limtited access to… >>>

I sure wish I would have taken this course BEFORE the course on the rubrics.  Sorting through all the terms has been helpful.

Pre- During & Post Assessments are good, but don't overuse.

Good reminder to use a variety of tools, even when I feel lazy.

I am going to need help from students to improve rubrics.  This will be difficult, because I can't get them to use the rubrics I currently have.

One of the last items was fairness to ESL students.  How do you make this fair?  I wish there was an example.  I know my ESL students "get" the content, but there are som many mistake that they answers are changed.

I have rubrics on everyone of my assignment, but they may not be helping the students to grow.

The time consuming part of rubrics is the creation of them.  They can save lots of time in grading.  HOWEVER, there seems to be a need to tweak them often.  How would this work when we don't have access to our Master Shells on the spot?  Wouldn't they need to be tweaked there, rather than our classroom?

For an on-line class, it is just really best to keep everything withing the LMS.  Presentations shouldn't be done on YouTube, unless written permission is received.

Students have a right to add a note to their records AND it has to be passed a long, when dealing with grades.
