About me

I am a seasoned educator whose focus includes research, mental health, and quality assurance.

Activity

I am an educator who has not stopped my learning journey. Every day is an opportunity to learn more and be better. I use training and further education to challenge myself on things I have yet to discover. An inquisitive mind is a non-ending learning mind.

The first topic taught me a lot about the evaluation and revision processes. It is particularly novel to me that reviewing and learning technology can serve as the foundation for a professional development plan for teachers and personnel. Second, the importance of teamwork is emphasized by benchmarking and sharing best practices. Finally, assessment and evaluation are processes that are often viewed as daunting and challenging, but they foster growth and improvement. The previous chapter on Creating Multiple Evaluations introduced me to new and various online methods for assessing student progress: one-minute inquiry, three clear points, three muddy points paper.

Formative assessments are quizzes and examinations used to assess how well students are acquiring content throughout a course. Summative assessments are quizzes and tests that measure how much a student has learned over the course of a course. As teachers, we can use a range of evaluation types to better meet the needs of our pupils. To encourage greater and increased engagement in class activities, we must consider their interests and inclinations. Furthermore, well-designed rubrics assist both the instructor and the student in achieving the course objectives. However, no matter how well-designed the rubrics are, the benefits may not be… >>>

This second lesson examines the importance of a well-designed syllabus and innovative and efficient methods for establishing and growing an online community. A dynamic syllabus makes it easier for students to find course information. It provides an opportunity for professors and students to work together to learn. Even when learning is not always face-to-face, a well-designed and managed online community allows teachers and students to communicate, learn from one another, and reap the benefits of a traditional class. As instructors, they are required to be creative while also establishing rapport through good communication and scaffolding.

Learning instructional materials is critical for effective lesson delivery. The course-module template must be created and tested in order for future course modules to be developed and consistent. The modules are tested to assure their efficiency and effectiveness. Maintaining a database of learning objects saves time since the course developer can easily identify, categorize, locate, and upload needed components.
