I did not know that there could be copyright issues if certain works are used while teaching at a proprietary school vs. non-profit.

There are multiple applications for specific use that can be beneficial to institutions with saving money, information sharing and student engagement.

This module stressed the importance of individual motivation and the instructors obligation to recognize and utilize them. This is valuable for student motivation and empowerment when navigating the course.

The thing that stuck out most to me in this module was to remember to have fun! It is so easy to get caught up in rushing to give them information but forgetting to keep things light hearted and relaxed.

I think really understanding the background of students is importatn in order to foster an engaged successful learing environment and taking the time to do this is cruicial.

The importance of being transparent about your personal and professional stress levels.

I have always done well making "to-do" lists, however, I never realized the importance of prioritizing those tasks or breaking them into smaller more managable tasks.

I have never taken into consideration such detailed foundations for forming successful working groups such as the number of persons in a group to support diversity of experience and strengths. Also, starting with a simple assignment so that they learn to work together in a "low risk" situation.

I need to make sure the information I am relaying builds from simple to more complex topics with a clear "roadmap" of what my goals are for the day to keep my students on track.

Using the whiteboard effectively and keeping it tidy makes a difference in the learning environment. Also, the 10-20-30 rule when it comes to making effective powerpoints.
