I planned to use this suggestion it said ("When considering how to best get faculty involved in the orientation process, they should:of them introduce themselves and provide a brief synopsis of their background This is the ideal situation, where students enrolling in a particular major can interact and ask questions of the faculty in that discipline.This allows for relationships and expectations to be formed early in the process')

I like this suggestion about orientation it say, "Planning your orientation content should reinforce the student's decision to attend your institution. As you consider the topics, you should reinforce the various support systems your institution has in place and the availability of your faculty and staff to assist them. Be sure to present in various ways your institution's unique ability to prepare them for a successful career."

I found this to be heplful it says "Talk personally with some students who have withdrawn to determine what their experiences were and then build in ways to increase the value at your college" to leave or to stay

It does matter how content are layed out, because consistentcy in course layout will make it easier for students to find materials that they need. Also, it helps students to be able to find the information quickly and easily.

I learned Basically that pattern of teaching characterizes how instructor provides information to students and how virtual classroom practice can become clear in the it is repeated and maintain consistently over a period of time.

That identifying teaching style and technology tools to facilitate teaching helps provide students with a learning process so they can achieve course outcomes. And that if any technology tool cannot function in the manner in which they are needed, it will not be an effective teaching and learning tool

That never use student evaluations to revise courses.That what is needed is multiple evaluations and multiple inputs from stakeholders to improve online courses. Also it is important to have a plan of action to review course and that reflection is part of course evaluation.

I have created/develop rubrics in the past just for grading but not to evaluate assignments/projects, or provide a way to assess the level to which the students achieved the objectives. I will save the info and revisit.
