All types of social networking are legitimate as long as students are employing the right strategies.
Reviews are incredibly beneficial for students because they can help them stay on track with their learning and help them identify the knowledge they need if there is something they do not understand.
My ability to provide the material in a way that students can understand and process will be aided by my knowledge of the various learning styles that students exhibit.
Teaching adult learners will require a variation in learning tools. All students retain information at different levels and as a facilitator you need to add concrete, hands on activities that student to relate information too for future recall.

Using a variety of teaching methods will assist students concentrate and retain information, which will improve their academic performance.

Jodi, I had no idea about half of these areas discussed in these module. What a vast area.. one of the most striking ones was the basic concept that we are not supposed to ask personal questions about the student’s disability..

Thats how exactly I felt. The most prevalent learning disability, ADHD, was highlighted in this section. It is essential that educators are aware of each impairment and offer the pupils adequate accommodations.
Equal Access to educational opportunities is a legal right for students with impairments. They are only entitled to a reasonable accommodation. Any breakage of this including any cheating during any accommodated tests would deny them equal access.

Totally agree with you Chris Aguilar. there is no doubt that gamification is a great tool. I am planning to increase the use of the accompanying visual aids to make my students feel accomplished and enthusiastic about finishing the course requirements.
