What was learned:
I learned that intrinsic motivators are internal to the person and extrinsic motivation is doing something to earn a reward. I used to believe that extrinsic motivation did not work, like offering extra credit or a prize etc. But from reviewing the training both motivation types are very useful.
I believe that it is great to help students focus on goals and achievements. For example, I have introduced students to tryhackme, which is a security game where students can learn and earn achievement badges. This approach has helped motivate students to learn and have the capacity to… >>>

What was learned:

Creating an environment that focuses on Security and autonomy in the classroom.
Also, Knowing the indicators of when a student is motivated
Students:
-Volunteer to answer questions asked
-Begin tasks promptly and complete
-Have attention and attend class
-Participate in discussions

Application:
This will help me identify if adjustments are needed on the delivery of the material, questioning techniques, and also check in with students who may not be showing the indicators of influence.
