Yes we are in the customer service game!!!! If we take the lead in this they will follow.  We have to practice what we preach, professionalism is what we teach, we have to practice it, if we want our grads to get jobs and maintain them.

I agree, I think that at orientation it can set the stage for the success of each person that graduates.  Letting them know that graduation is the sum of thier education, and the begining of a new career for many a new way of life.  I feel that everyone who comes thur our doors should attend graduation, you work hard for that day, it should be celeberated, by the staff, facility and everyone involved in thier lives.

What I have learned is that we have to live by the mission of our department! The out comes of our students is what measures our success as a department and a school.  I learned that each and every students is an individual and needs to be treated that way, each person comes to school with different desires and strengths.  Have a good library of job search material is important to the out come of the student.

What I can do is have a placement department book.  I get all the externship info but I have not put it… >>>
