When a student asks a question, an instructor's automatic reflex is to provide a response. To be the most effective instrucor, one of the strategies I have learned from this course is to practice reflective listening. Reflective listening is a communication strategy that can enhance instructor's understanding of what the student is saying and reflecting it back.
