The SAGE model along with the Great examples and topics can help support the redesign of my instruction for students to get a global perspective through my coursework. The wide variety of topics and support can help me make small changes to my curriculum without having to do a major overhaul all at one time. 

I enjoyed thinking about how my students' diverse backgrounds could be used in my math courses. I have many students from outside the United States that have experiences in math that are different from students that were raised in the United States, but when we discuss the concepts we realize there are many similarities. It is intriguing to me to think of the students discussing and explaining their previous math experiences and teaching other students about their culture in the process.
