Brian, Excellent examples of the use of this tool. Thank you for sharing those. Yes, the "process" of getting to a solution either in Math or in critical thinking in general can be well captured using this tool. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Brian, Great points! Yes, the access to information makes a huge difference for busy students. I believe that texting is here to stay and so we have to think of other ways to have students submit well written contributions that cannot be completed on the cell phone :) I do believe also, however, that voice submissions might soon take the place of text altogether - now that is a challenge for the development of writing ability! James, Great points! Yes, so flexibility and mobility of access and contribution is central for the nomadic learner, however, the instructor remains key in the process so that students are guided and coached as needed throughout the process. Dr. Ruth Reynard

Aneesah, Yes, I agree. It enriches the student experience to connect with people and content around the world. Instructors, however, should be ready to guide that process as well as integrate it somehow into the overall course outcomes and design. Dr. Ruth Reynard

Lisa, Also the capability this technology has for capture and distribution means that online, blended, and on ground can all benefit from the asynchronous interaction. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Richard, Interestingly, while teachers are always focused on the loss of skill in reading and writing, these skills keep changing. We must focus on what is required for success nevertheless. Dr. Ruth Reynard
