Betty, Can you be more specific? What qualities and experiences would make a difference? Ron Obstfeld
Robert, This behavior you described is totally unacceptable! They should be coached by the manage. I would go one step further and observe their behavior in class and maybe solicit student feedback through anonymous surveys. Ron Obstfeld

Brandi, Good reply. I would suggest that the team stay on a professional level. Treating the team as "family" can sometime be too familiar. Ron Obstfeld

Melissa, I don't think leaders are "born". I would say Leadership can be a learned skill up to a point. The blend of leadership skill and intuition are required to make a great leader....but anyone can learn the required skills. Ron Obstfeld
Jamie, If this is a known result....maybe you or the organization can help people with time management or better align company expectations. Ron Obstfeld
My question is ...what do you do with those team members that impede team progress?
Anita, What can you do to rectify a situation such as you described? Ron Obstfeld
Mike, Good techniques. I would suggest that you let the team members do most of the talking. This will allow you to know if they really understand. Ron Obstfeld
