I really liked the idea of adding a wiki link under the announcement page that the students could create and build. I also liked the ice breaker and introducing some general information about each other to create a better bond between the students and staff. Both are great ideas that I'd like to apply into my courses.

Each course needs to be very clearly defined with sections the students can easily follow and understand.

I really enjoyed this class probably more than any of the others I have taken. It really gave me a lot of information that I am excited to look at including the websites of tools for my students! We are starting a new LMS next week so this will incorporate nicely into our next adventure!

I have found that the best way is through either a buddy system with other bilingual studetns and/or visual aides. I also agree that some extra tutoring may be very helpful to the student who may need more attention becasue of the language barrier.

We encourage our students to also create an account with Linkedin. I feel its a great start in getting in touch with others in the field and getting their name out. It helps to see any job postings and be found from any recruiters who may be searching for someone in that field of study. I think it's a great idea!

I always find that it is frustrating that so many students don't utilize the power points or websites provided to help them with the coursework. So many of the answers and important learning information is provided in these lectures, but many students would rather just Google the information and not get the full theory behind the subject. Does any one else have problems like this or see this as a recurring issue?

This link has short video clips and questions that shows great film and explanation of the cardiac and pulmonary system. It also has little games that the students can play to place all of the parts of the cardio and pulonary system in place.
