Learning styles vary from student to student. It is challenging to teach a concept when many variables exist prior to learning to happen. We have to keep in mind that people's attention span is often less in terms of our lecture time frame. This is why we should vary our teaching style and acknowledeg the natural accurences happening to students while learning. Also, too much condensed information may sometimes hinder learning results. Having a lesson plan helps the student learn and helps the instructor stay organized and prepared. Just as a student learns, an instructor should always practice, practice, practice.

I leraned that as an instructor, being prepared for class is ideal for maintaing controll of the class/course. learning students names is also important because it implies that you care about them. We can set the tone of the class's learning environment with the way we present oursekves.

It is important to always be prepared for class time and lab time as far as material and supplies go. Having a check list will ensure you covered everything you need prior to class. It will also help you concentrate on teaching rather than distract you with worrying about things such as materials.

I've learned that it is important to be aware of any resources available for the student as well as for the instructor. Knowing your company philosophy can help as a guide for the instructor to set the bar and succede as an educator. It is also important to be yourself when in search of a teaching style.

It is important to share your enthusiasm with the students. This creates a good learning environment and may help in keeping students engaged. Demonstrate clarity by the use of personal experiences or analogies.

Ive learned that the second half of the course we're teaching can become tedious for the student. Therefore, withhout implementing variety in our style, the students may lose motivation and interst. I will approach this by applying the "Re-focus" method and also keeping the students envolved by acknowledging their progress and telling them personal stories within the field which will help them relate to them and ultimately regain their motivation and attention.

I think it is natural for students to get too comfortable during mid-phase. It is good to know that as instructors, we have a fair amount of control over that situation. It is important to keep the students focused and motivated.

From the previouse module,  I've learned that by being creative when approaching a subject, we can keep the students engaged in learning. Adding some excitment and providing a different view by the use of analogies, can impact the way a struggling student succeeds. As Instructors, we can acknowledge the student simply by learning their name and therefore, creating a respectful environment.

I have learned that as an Instructor, It is my duty to find a way to encourage and support students in order to keep them engaged in the subject. This material is allowing me to develope a different approach to further assist students of different divesity groups and needs.
