Student challenges and 'No Shows' equally should be handled with "soft gloves" but gloves none the less. Our goal is to always keep a prospect focused, motivated and engaged.

This section was a pretty straight-forward read. One of my main takeaways is just to 'have' a process of communication to eventually build trust in.

Along with technology todays' student has advanced as well; advanced awareness, knowledge, resources, expectations, access to information, etc. The clear takeaway for me is that I (as an AR) have to ensure that I connect, build trust and customize solutions that match individual student needs and concerns. Never forgetting the purpose of the interview process; adapting to the individual student and becoming a POWERFUL DIFFERENTIATOR.

Great insight on just remaining positive, encouraging and always being positively solution oriented.

This section was straight-forward and a subject matter that I have completed several hours of training and module courses in relation to. None the less, listening is a communication journey.

This section was especially enlightening for me in providing guidance for (MY) approaches to student obstacles, adversities, struggles, situations, etc. Reading this section I stepped outside of myself and peered deeper into the accountability of how (AR) sending 'mixed' or 'contradicting' messages can be unconsciously affirming (to the student) in counter-productive ways.

My takeaway is that there is a 'personal attention' to; and understanding of; the needs and delivery of e-learning that is necessary to facilitate student confidence, security and success.

Late enrollment students should always receive specifically assigned a mentor, coach or support team to ensure comfort and clarity.

Campus faculty and staff play a major and vital role in student retention.

This section really highlights the importance on understanding the VALUE in the first week, 'starting' process and student expectations; in a manner that facilitates a comfortable, confident start and retained student.
