This section reiterates and ties in the critical importance of (genuinely) building rapport with the students in career coaching and all campus interactions. I can have access to endless resources, tools, information, skills, networking, strategies, employment opportunities, etc. All of which is useless in the absence of a trust and respect. Effective strategies in student career coaching begin with valuing student rapport building.

Comment on Kelly Wilkinson's post: Thank you for your insight.

Great refresher on setting goals, refresher paths, the process of goal setting.

Great insights on not just the purpose of; but also the many working components of career services.

The fiduciary responsibilities that we all share as educational institution staff begins with being knowledgeable of the standards, practices, regulatory guidelines, etc. High integrity and high ethical practices in student communications and inner-actions is very reliant on you being well informed as a campus resource.

My main 'takeaway' is always ensure to facilitate and teach the importance; and process; of a multi-faceted approach to marketing and promoting self professionally.

I have enjoyed and been enlightened by much of the "...Professional Digital Presence" module information. In todays' career markets(s) a digital presence is IMPORTANT! I totally agree with Mr. Shermans comment "...this should be taught to high school students" in preparation for the 'wrapping of the mind' around this concept and professional strategy.

Comprehensive strategy on facilitating a student using their tech-savvy and knowledge to market themselves professionally; with a structured and defined purpose.

Very, very insightful module. I found myself (both) learning and assessing my 'Keywords' as they relate to 'searchability' in the past? Most definitely areas for improvement in marketability and candidate searches.

Very interesting read. The presence of; and value in; an active social media presence and digital footprint is a valued asset in todays career market.
