It is very important to create an online class that:

·      Contains a dynamic syllabus that is interactive and promotes a student-centered environment.

·      Possess a communicative learning community that is collaborative in public and private venues.

·      Demonstrates effective communication with students in terms of directions, expectations, examples, etc.

·      Utilizes strategies that increase the chances of all students learning; i.e., scaffolding.

Maintaining a consistent course structure really resonated with me. It helps keep everyone involved in the class organized, informed, and up to date, while also ensuring that the course stays on schedule. Learning about the Learning Objects Database as a repository for storing files, graphics, audio, video, and other course components was also very beneficial. I learned that it can be used for one or multiple classes and can be shared among colleagues, making it a valuable resource for organizing and managing course materials.
