Used to be constuctive criticism, now it has changed to this format. Now self assesment gives the student a second look at their work.
Paying attention to online chat between students will be important to help prevent negativity of sourse content or instruction.
We are using this template now, but just needs to be used consistanlty by all the instructors using it.
we have instructors in different locations, and we also need to communicate effectivly within our community as well as the students.
Being a new instructor during this change of learning formatting, i was almost an eclusive synchronous instructor, but will have tomdevelope new skills for the asychronous portion of my online classes.
Although not as personal, an online profile should deliver a enough information for the student to get an idea of an actual instructor, which should help them feel at ease in the beginning of the course.
This will be a new teaching technique for me compared to years ago of strictly hands on and classroom activities.
Our President is working with state legislators to improve the ideaollogy of the for profit schools that have to meet certain accredidation standards.
Many schools have closed recently because of accredidation issues and not following standards. this is the most important issue besides retention for most schools.

Career Ed Lounge is embedded in over eighty professional development portals serving the career and technical education community. Performance Groups in the Lounge are integrated with related learning opportunities offered on these portals. With a few exceptions, Performance Groups are also publicly available to any member of the Lounge to maximize peer-to-peer learning and performance outcomes.
