My siblings and I are very spread out and come from 3 different generations. It's interesting to read this and recognize characteristics from our family based on their generational model.
Each generation has their own strengths based on their experiences during their lifetimes.
Helping the students academically, socially, and professionally throughout all aspects of an education could have a huge impact.
In special education classes as a teacher, you need to account for very integrated and varied types of intelligence. Some students may be extremely academically gifted, but need support in social/emotional intelligence.
Motivating students in the classroom is no easy task - providing project-based activities where the students are following guidelines but can make many choices themselves is a great way to enhance motivation.
It is important for instructors to remember that students have different emotional intelligence, and differing ways of learning.
I am going to try these positive interventions with my family, I think they could be very beneficial for us.
Knowing your personality strengths can lead to appreciating yourself and working on goals for the future.
