How would you create a learning environment where every student feels their perspective is essential to the conversation.

Learning preferences refers to the best way a student absorbs information. Visual, auditory, and solitary learning are a few of the ways student have to process information. Learning challenges can refer to reading comprehension, lack of resources, and visual and hearing impairments. Instructional challenges can also interfere with a students ability to learn. 

Providing student access to material in their mother tongue will enable them to learn with understanding and also help the student to learn the new language

 

Culture vs race has been proven to be very different. Culture refers to beliefs, values, and traditions. Race is related to a group of people that share the same skin color and other physical traits. People of the same race can have very different cultures. Both factors are very important when educating students.

Men being more hands on is a broad generalized statement that is not a universally true statement. Students shows that men no longer lean towards hands on learning. The learning styles of men and women differ with the personality not the gender. 

Diversity is more than the differences in race, ethnicity, or culture. Diversity is about inclusion, respect and representation. As a teacher, we have to meet the student were they are. Student have different strengths, learning styles,  and cultural  backgrounds. We have to adapt our methods of teaching to use inclusive materials and create a conducive learning environment. 

As a teacher, I will design lessons all student can relate to. Example, stories, and resources from different cultures and viewpoints will help to be inclusive. Making the classroom setting a safe space for all students better the chances of students learning to… >>>
