I've learned that it is vital to students success to keep them informed by using the syllabus and class calendar to ensure they have all the vital information to get the very most out of the class.  By keeping them in the know it helps them and you at the same time.  include in the syllabus a policy on late/missed assignments.  Ice breakers are great tool to use, such as a psychomotor activity.

I have to teach using a variety of teaching methods and lecture methods to ensure that I'm reaching all of my students.  

In this module, I learned how to successfully prepare for my first class.  Getting to know the students, ensuring they know that I care about them and their learning experience, creating a time for them to meet their classmates and ensure that when they leave my first class they know exactly what is expected of them.  

This module taught me the importance of being organized as a new teacher what different items will keep me organized along with my classes.  If I'm organized and planning ahead of time, my class will be better prepared for what's coming at them.  I love the idea of keeping a notepad with me at all times to jot down notes that I might need to look up later or things that come to mind to address after class to prepare or add to next lesson.

I've learned to be professional and remember your a model, manager and motivator.  Always strive to lead by example and remember learning is the most important part here.  I'm a beginner so I'm honestly just watching, taking notes and hopefully will be puting this all together once I start with my students.
