Communication is extremely vital in an online learning environment.  It is vital for all aspects of the class/assignments.

The biggest things I got  out of this module, is acknowledging time management for the students and making accomadations to students

In this module I learned that by providing rubrics to students at the beginning of the assignment will provide them with a guide of  what is exactly expected of them for the assignment/project.

In this module I learned that objective information is fact based and subjective is based on personal opinions or different points of view.

This module taught us the different typyes of assessments; diagnostic, formative and summative.  Diagnostic assessments help us as instructors to make any changes that may beed to be made within the class to achieve learning outcomes.

There are numerous ways to assess students using many of the technical tools designed for each individual assessment. Tests, quizzes, virtual labs, and web based projects are all great tools used for assessing students. Providing adequate feedback to each student and communication is essential for a successful outcome. All tools must be carefully researched to ensure you're using the best tools for you and your students.  You don't have to use all of the features of all tools, pick out what works for your teaching in whichever/however many tools you decide to use.

Consistency is key!  Provide a consistant and organized learning environment.  Also be sure to provide good, constructive, positive feedback.  Do your best to be accessable.

In this module we learned that there is much more to teaching than just teaching.  We need to engage with our students on many different levels to ensure they are getting the most out of the class, also so they know that we care that they succeed.  We play many rolls such as administrator, technology helper, and a social administrator.

It is important to figure out if the synchronis or asynchronis method will work for you.  I personally would use the asynchronis method because having students in different time zones will be more manageable.

There are many different teaching tools and the best way to figure out which ones will work for you is to reseach the tools and see what exactly they are used for.  When you get into the teaching environment, you can choose which tools will work depending on your students.
