This lesson included the information on the value and purpose behind clear policy definitions regarding employee placement. The information collected can be skewed if clear expectations/definitions are not established.  It is important to have clear definitions of policies to provide accurate information regarding verification.  There are ways to enhance verification and best practices to use when collecting data. The module focused on the importance of employment documentation, verification, and reporting. I learned the purpose behind the need for accurate/detailed verification and documentation, is that it leads to a higher level of data which institutions, accrediting bureaus, and the government can use to evaluate and ensure institutions are meeting high-quality standards to meet the needs of those attending the institutions. Accurate reporting will allow accrediting institutions, the schools themselves, and the government to evaluate and improve the learning platforms to meet the growing or declining demands of specific programs/fields to better serve the students.
