Starting the class with positivity and lots of energy and above all excitement, letting the student know that we care about their education, making sure we have planned our day accordingly, giving meaningful assignment, not just to keep them busy, making sure they comprehend the material before moving on to the next topic.

Being able to communicate effectively is key, reinforcing positive atitude, positive feedback, encouraging words all contrtibute to the success of the student

Technology is the key to success for the online program, having students that can navigate easily the platform is essential

Time Management is an essential part of online learning, at the beginning of course student has to make sure they understand how important it will be to manage their time so the assignments can be completed.  Giving as zero should not be an option, reach out to the student, send email make the effort to reach the student and give helpful tips on how to better manage their time.

A happy environment that students can come to everyday is important, being prepared, being aware of any changes, communication is the key, if there is something that we see is off, like the sound of their voice we can actually do our best to help, I think that overall the environment plays an important part just as much as having a concerned instructor, everyone in the building has to show the positive attitude, say hello not just walk by students (whether they are in their program or another one) students perceive the animosity and that gives them the negative vibes… >>>

Incorporating different learning techniques and styles will help the student with ease of learning, motivates and give them confidence with the acquired knowledge.

Being able to shift gears is useful during the course, knowing the different learning styles of each student is helpful.

The true colors is an excellent tool for us to be able to understand and get to know our students a little better.
