It is good to make sure to try and not reinvent the wheel. It is okay to save and store some of the online courses and tools that you have used in the past in order for future courses.

Ensure that you take control over the class by leading in the way that you will hold the attention of the students. Short and to the point, rely to the students when they ask questions in a timely manner. 

Time managmement for the instructor is very important 

Teachers need to find what teching tool fits thier teaching styles and to ensure it is functional. They need to understand that online instruction are not at easy as it might seem and they might have some bumps in the road. It will take some time to adjust but with the proper training it will be accomplished. 

Teaching students to become better planners and how to complete thier work on time. I learned the seven principles of learning. 

It was helpful to learn the diffrent ways of teaching but the foundation of the seven principles of teaching 

The abondunce of social networking that we can use for online and to make sure that the tools are compatible. 

Ensure to address any issues that the students may have with a solution and by using thier own words as a summary to ensure that they understand the solution to thier problem

The syllubus needs to fit the class to the fullest, to explain to the students what is expected of them during the duration of the course. How to answer the discussion questions. How to communicate with peers and the professor. It taught me that you should specify your office hours so the students do not expect you to be online 24 hours.

Diffrent methods of how online instructors can be aware of the diffrent generations that are taking their online course. I did not even give this any consideration. I will be better perpared to adjust my teaching and ready for any questions that may arise due to this.
