While there are many learning styles and it is proven that a student can accel better with their chosen style, it is also a good idea to group them and combine different styles. This allows them to experience different styles and see things from multiple angles.

You should always make sure that your objectives are measurable, that your standards include course content and skill development. It is important to utilize lecture notes, this will help you stay on course with your lesson.

It is always a good idea to document and organize your lesson plan. This will save time in the future when you have to teach this course again. It will also be an aid, should you have to miss class and have a substitute teacher.

When planning you lesson, make sure to give an outline on topics to be covered and emphasize the importance of each part of the lesson. Time management is also key. You need to plan it out so that you spend more time teaching and less time for the students to disengage.

I have and will continue to promote safety FIRST every day. This will embed it into the student's brain. If it is a reminder every day, they're less likely to injure themselves or others, however, accidents do happen. Having a class discussion about the safety policy will help them to retain it.

In the course I teach, it requires constant evaluation, because the students are applying skills learned while performing what they have learned. The grading Rubic is a good for the student to see what the grading differences are and how to improve.

There seem to be many different characteristics of Lab or shop teaching. You must first identify the different learning styles of the students. When they can move at their own pace, they are less stressed and likely to be more successful. However, they also need to be progressively reaching not only their goals, but also completing the course on time.

I believe the as in past lesson topics, the learners will learn faster and remember a greater portion of the lessons when they can do hands on. They also can apply the AFFECTIVE domain process; this will reaffirm what skills and abilities they have acquired.

There are various resources and methods in which to deliver course content. When using small lectures, try to limit the lectures to10-15 minutes and use only 5-7 parts. It easier for the retention of information .

greet each learner as the arrive to your classroom/ lab. Before your instruction begins, it is a good idea to introduce yourself, talk a little about yourself and experience in this field of study then explain what is expected of them and the goals that you set forth in the course.
