I really enjoyed this session because I can relate to it in every class. It has given me a better understanding to certain terminology identifying different disability groups and how to give them proper instruction. My biggest challenge is students with English as a second language. Even though they have had ESL classes in high school, some still have great difficulty learning at the college level.

This course was very helpful as our campus concentrates heavily on retention. The course gave valuable information as to how to retain students in our classes that have a wide range of learning styles and career goals.

I thought this course was very helpful. It gave me tips that I had not thought about. The first day of class is very important. I ask my students the first day of class what their expectations are of the class. For the most part they are not sure. That could be because the classes I teach are not core classes.
