I learned more about the main learning styles and the differences in them. I will apply this knowledge to future classes to be sure each learning style is addressed as best as possible for my students success.

Keep detailed record of all student interactions, possibly in a folder on your computer per student. Encourage 'surfing students' to stay on track, and draw students that may not respond much online in with skills they may be familiar with.

It is important not to discuss core information in a large group setting, but rather one on one where possible, and small group settings when not. Students should also be split into small groups of 5-6 where possible to encourage more introverted students to participate in discussions.

It is important for students to be aware of your credentials for teaching the course, but also not to get too familiar. Students should feel comfortable asking you questions regarding in field experience. Be sure to keep regular office hours listed frequently.

Some issues for students in online learning can be technical. Familiarize yourself with support of this structure, or resources for it, in order to better assist students encountering trouble.

Different people learn in different ways. It's important to change your delivery in order to reach all of your students .

In this course I learned important strategies for the first day of class. I will take the information I learned and create a check list for my first day to ensure I cover as much as possible to create clear guidelines for my students.

I've learned how important knowing your course material is, and creating a lesson plan from it. I intend to study the syllabus prepared by ACC in order to efficiently teach the material.

My largest take-aways from this course would be to continue learning, remember to stay professional in appearance and procedure, and to be sure to continue my own educational growth.
