A chef instructor should stay up to date  with the industry as it is constantly  changing. It is valuable to impart this kind of thinking to the students so that they understand education is ongoing.  I also believe that promoting travel as a medium of education is important to our students in this global culinary world we are now engaged in.

It is important that all components of Gen. ed can be incorporated into Culinary Classes. The most effective method of delivery might be thru real life scenarios. A very effective method of delivering the reality of kitchens to the students would be to invite guest speakers from the industry.

Use a lesson plan to guide us thru the day. Remembering to include varied styled of teaching to keep student engagement during the day.
