I really like the close out statements. It gives a way to check clarity but also end the conversation politely or move the conversation forward while still making them feel heard and understood.

I do think there can be a lot of miscommunication in online communication. People can misinterpret emotions behind messages. I think that clear and concise messages also help reduce confusion.

With the growing popularity of online learning, all teachers should be preparing in this area. This sector will only continue to grow and get more complex.

I know there is work to be done to improve climate at my campus. I see ways that I can use my real world experience to interact with the students to build a good working alliance.

I really appreciate things like graphics and animations in presentations. A plain presentation is harder to stay engaged with.

Applying concepts to real life problems will really help my students with their critical thinking skills. I plan on trying to incorporate these into their assignments and quizzes.

I look forward to using extra media and guest speakers to engage the student and provide real world application of the concepts they are learning.

I think it is super cool that distance learning has such a long history. If teachers were able to engage learners via mail, then I look forward to engaging them via internet.

Problem-based learning is very applicable to my classes. Helping students develop critical thinking skills will help them pass their boards and succeed in the work force.

Active learning does take a lot of prep time for teachers. However, the payoff is the students taking a more active role in their learning and education.
