This module helped me reflect on the importance of managing the online learning environment in a structured, fair and supportive way. Effective record management, clear communication rules, timely feedback, and well-organised student support are essential to prevent confusion and reduce unnecessary workload. I will apply this in my classes by creating clear folders and naming conventions for assignments, using dedicated spaces in the learning platform for general questions and FAQs, and setting clear expectations for response times. I will also monitor participation more carefully, support quiet or struggling students through personalised messages, and manage disruptive or procrastinating behaviour by referring… >>>

The module highlights the importance of creating an active, supportive and well-structured online learning environment. I found the distinction between asynchronous and synchronous discussions particularly valuable, as asynchronous forums can give students more time to reflect, participate and engage critically, while synchronous sessions are better used for clarification, support and small-group interaction. I will apply this in my classes by designing weekly discussion forums aligned with learning outcomes, using clear netiquette rules, providing concise prompts, and summarising key points at the end of each discussion. I will also use small-group activities to encourage quieter students to participate, offer timely and… >>>

Sometimes I sent messages to students I perceived as disengaged, but I was often ghosted. Anyway, I know that connections are relevant, so I also use in-person individual chat to stimulate participation and learning.

I normally don't use the forums too much, but now I think they are essential to the co-construction of knowledge. In addition, I take for granted that students know many of the points mentioned in the course, but I have learned that it is important to ensure the students know the points I take for granted.

I gained a clear understanding of what AI and generative AI are, how tools like large language models and agents work, and how they can be applied to tasks such as automating workflows, creating content, or optimising processes. The course emphasised the role of emotional intelligence in addressing both enthusiasm and scepticism within teams, showing how to build trust, communicate the value of AI, and highlight human skills that technology cannot replace. I also learned the importance of experimentation, developing hypotheses, and using structured approaches to test and refine AI applications. Finally, I strengthened my awareness of how to align… >>>
