Instructors need to be keenly aware of the students who have TBI/PTSD, there are barriers that may be present and they may need accommodation to assist this veteran or person suffering from these debilitating conditions.

It is good that an IEP can be put into place for k-12 up until the age 21, however it is a bit tougher when the attend the Colleges forward and needs to be worked with HR to ensure proper care is being taken for the student wherever needed.

TBI and PTSD show many of the same effects, however both lead to developmental issues or problems readjusting to society.

PTS is a debilitating condition that has undergone a series of changes through extensive studies performed from the Civil war forward. Although the term (Shell Shock, PTSD) have changed throughout the years the sympthoms have remained similar through out every case.

Both intrensic and extrinsic motivating factors are a good way to get a class to start participating. Sometimes its for the external gifting and sometimes its for the person to feel complete.

It is a huge importance for the student to feel safe and autonomy over some parts of the lessons and their learning. It will assist with participation and understanding.

It is only human to make mistakes, but it should be handled with humor and dignity.

Learning how to work with disruptive students is a must, an instructor needs to be compassionate and an outside of the box thinker when remedying the issue.

I have learned how to deal with disruptive students and how to document the activities for the disruption.

It is important to list the homework due dates in the syllabus as it will help the students know when assignments are due and covers the instructor as well.
