There are different learning styles for different age groups.

I learned about blooms taxonomy.

I learned the "four o's", origin, organization, orchestration, and outcomes. Having an organized course makes the learning environment more productive and easier for the student to learn.

Facilitating student engagement is important. Engaging students in the beginning is helpful. Providing concise direction and support will help students.

Asynchronous and synchronous methods offer different methods of learning. Asynchronous can be more flexible, all students don't have to be online at the same time. Synchronous is also good where u have all students on the same platform at the same time. This can be good for peer to peer discussions and learning.

There are many different technology tools. Some may be more helpful than others. Choose tools that coincide and help facilitate better learning with your course.

Intrinsic and extrinsic motivators are both important. Intrinsic is a longer lasting motivator. Extrinsic is a good tool to help someone become intrinsically motivated.

I learned that security and autonomy are very important to adult students. Giving them security and autonomy throughout the learning process will help keep them motivated.
