I agree with you. I am a Program Drector in a career school with 5 other instructors on my tesm. I also Teach classes throughout the day. Therefore I have a lot of stressful days. When I prioritize, rethink my professional life and my personal lfe, relizing I have to leave the two seperated when I come through the doors each morning has helped me eto cope with a lot of my stress. I tell my students that while we are here we help our health by focusing on posotive things and the outcome instead of worrying about things on… >>>

i agree. It is a great course for new instructors, to especially show them how the lesson plans, objectives, and standards, all come together. Especially when you get instructors that come from a private school and do not have to write lesson plams. It shows them how much easier life in the classroom can be when you have a road ap to follow! I enjoyed the course. It took me back to my earlier years of CE for instructors.

In a Technical college we instruct students of all genders, cultures, and a wide variety of age groups. As instructors, understanding students life experiences and where they come from and possibly what they have been through can help us relay to each individual what they need from us. Also, using our own personal life experieces when appropriate. I enjoyed ED 108.

It talks about how your students decode and recode information and their learning processes.

I agree. it was very interesting and made you think about how long are you lecturing, are chaging up, etc so the students are not getting bored. I can generally tell when it tine to change up to another activity. Enjoyed the Course.

I have just completed ED105 and enjoyed it. It is important as a professional instructor to be organized and prepared. It sets the example for students to follow, that will ensure them success in the industry. Also, making sure we evaluate the students in a timely manner and review with them what they have missed helps them to retain the correct information.

As career instructors we have to set the stage for our students. We are their role model and they are looking to us to guide them into a career. We have to be on our best at all times for them to see and respect us as  true professionals in our field of expertise. If not, we do not gain their trust, and hence, our retention drops!

As an Instructor, and a Program Director, i have learned and been able to apply the knowledge in my every work day, understanding more about the financial and admissions aspects and what they do.

I learned alot about compliance and Title lV funds. The importance of entrance and exit counseling with students.

I enjoyed the class.

this course gave ma a better understanding of what it takes to retain students, and new insight/strategies to use in the classroom.
