I've taken a Masters level multi-cultural class so I feel that I had these topics fairly well in hand, it's always nice to have a review though!

I learned that the classroom needs to simulate the healthcare environment more so that the experience they have in class will develop their skill sets towards the culture they will be working with.

I need to implement this 21-day idea to change the way we think and change our habits.  Stress comes from inside, and the way we view the problem.

It's important to express a clear vision of where you want your team to go to be successful, and then listen and adjust as needed.

It's important when interacting with students that we are thoroughly knowledgeable about what we are discussing.  If we aren't, get someone who is, and learn from the discussion.  We also should limit our speech to informative, and not try to persuade the student as this might be misconstrued.
