Donna, Wow! It feels as if you have a lot of changes in your organization and yet you have risen to the occasion! Great work! The realization that the vision "sets the course" is also very powerful as evidenced by the energy you are now seeing in the organization. I'm curious, do you have some staff that have not bought into the changes? Dr. Jean Norris
Dan, So it definitely sounds like something you are aware of and have the ability to turn off/on, is that right? Dr. Jean Norris
melinda, Great self-discovery! Thank you for sharing. Dr. Jean Norris
Bryce, Thanks for being honest here! Keep us posted on your continued success! Dr. Jean Norris
Bryce, Wow! This is an incredible experience that I can tell has shaped you in many ways. It certainly pays off in many ways to do what is right and in the best interest of the student. Congratulations! Dr. Jean Norris
Bryce, Thanks for sharing our great ideas on the 100 point tour. Love it! Dr. Jean Norris
Bryce, Excellent points! Some people are naturally good at some of these competencies and yet others require training. All are essential to sales success however the "weight" or "focus" from past admissions training programs has been heavy in sales/product knowledge instead of the others. We believe it's time to help people develop skills in these other areas - and yes....some things can be taught! :) Dr. Jean Norris
Pamela, I'm so happy you have found a great "fit" between your personal values and that of your organization. This alignment is essential to personal and professional health for so many reasons. As for your last point on students who are "in need" and yet may not succeed - I tend to focus on what skills we can add to our own "toolbox" to support these people to help them succeed. Does that make sense? Dr. Jean Norris
melinda, Great points. Yes, it is challenging to find and serve today's students. What changes can an organization make to stand out amongst the competition? Dr. Jean Norris
Katrena, Very interesting. Do you have an example you can share with us from your own experience? Dr. Jean Norris
