I had to laugh about how some of these trainings have the read aloud option and some don't and it's to bad because I'm definitely a listener to learning. Ironic. I teach a drawing class and I make videos the students can access anytime for help so I cover many learning styles.

I have actually seen this udl in my traing here with cte. Lots of the trainings give the the read out load option which I love and some don't. I learn best by listening not reading.

Taking notes after each lecture has really helped me being a new teacher knowing what worked and what could be improved up on.

Knowing the standards is guidelines to help you know what to teach and how much.

Keeping things simple and to the point, organized and staying on time is key to teaching what you need to in the amount of time givin.

Very important to assess what the students know before class. Also showing them how what you are teaching is being applied in the real world.

I am going to stop giving extra credit and instead let the student make up missed work of redo an assignment they did poorly at.

Be ready to adjust and keep the students busy and engaged in content or else the will wonder.

I struggle with putting notes up on the white board. When I first started it was a mess. But I am getting better and more organized at doing it the more and more I do it.

Planning is everything. Being prepared is huge. Knowing how each student learns and knowing your teaching style is all key to success.
