For me Transparency builds a foundation of trust! In general, workplace transparency is a philosophy of sharing information freely in an effort to benefit the organization and its people. That could mean all levels of magagement and staff sharing company information with the whole team or individual teammates sharing feedback with each other, and it can even go beyond the walls to involve what your organization tells candidates, customers, and the public

A good portfolio can set you apart! The benefits of developing a career portfolio go beyond having a useful tool to showcase yourself. Through the effort of identifying, writing about, and organizing your experience, education, skills and accomplishments, you will be prepared to speak easily and confidently about yourself to prospective employers.

Giving students a say in how they learn shows them that you are willing to be flexible by empowering students to make decisions about their education.

One of the simplest ways to empower students is by encouraging leadership behaviors. Provide ample opportunity for students to take charge, whether that’s through group activities or explaining a concept they’ve grasped to the rest of the class.

Teachers can use student empowerment activities to help learners feel engaged in the classroom. Engagement is a critical step in student empowerment, ensuring students have a say in their education. Whether it’s as simple as voicing if they liked a book or as intense as forming test questions for their peers, student engagement leads to feelings of empowerment.

The online learning environment features wonderfully fast and nimble feedback loops. This means that an opening question or quiz can easily guide you on what students already know and which of them have a more advanced understanding and which don’t.

encouraging on line participation requires excellent communication and instrutor needs to be present and encouraging

that insturctors need to know the course materials to be able to assist students with assignments

To assist with the needs of this changing student population, educators mush consider generational characteristics to ensure equity in learning opportunities. Specifically, educators in the classrooms will need to adapt and adjust for a changing student population providing instruction that meets the needs of multiple generations of learners , often within one classroom>

As teachers, we know that every student is unique and an individual. But students often feel grouped—they’re one of the smart kids, they’re on the football team, or they’re so-and-so’s sibling— and therefore not unique. Even with diversity, the same happens. Allow students to explore their individual diversity, from their country of ethnicity all the way down to their immediate family. It will show students that we are, in fact, all a part of large, meaningful groups, but we also have individual characteristics and experiences that make us all individual and unique.
