It is very apparent with most adult learners that situational factors are a huge area that contributes to success and retention.

Knowing if a student has a family and needs to work outside of school is important. We need to know what situational factors exist with all students.

Active Learning

I do love the Ideas in this course. I did use activities like these in a recent course I taught. This course re-inforces how much more students learn when actively invloved.

I only noticed students sleeping or bored during typical lecture portions of my course, so I worked on as much active learning as Possible!

I enjoyed my class and I think students not only learned, but enjoyed and retained the information.

Classroom Technology for an Old School New Educator.

Becoming an educator late in life was exciting and challenging. Technology is a wonderful tool in combination with real world experience. Learing to use and facilitate technology was frightening at first and now has opened my mind to different ways of education. New learners appreciate and relate to technology, it is a must for educators, keeping in mind to utlize many methodologies in instruction for a well rounded student and education.
