Activity

The UDL concept has different avenues for reaching the learning objectives but to be able to reach these levels the students must be able to voice their concerns so the instructor may implement various options to reach the same goal

My class performs both formative and summative assessments

Creating objectives and informing the students of the standards to complete those objectives

I am currently in the process of writing a lesson plan with 13 different objectives. I think it would be an asset to have a printed copy of the lesson plan in case the computers crash again and all material is lost.

Taking the time to perform a lesson plan that the students can relate to and keep the students active as my course is primarily hands on evolutions.

implementing grades that are commensurate with the testing activity and keeping an actual paper grade book for reference for student grades.

Always have a plan B and request students input to better the training experience for the students.

visual aids are how we learn by 83% which is nice to know as most of my class structure is hands on approach

As an instructor I noticed that sometimes I have the Drill Instructor mentallity ( being a Veteran) and sometimes I stand back to watch the students to see how they are progressing and what discussions they are are having to basically impliment the 20 second step back approach

My training involves simulated based training as it seems difficult to provide actual radioactive contamination and radiation for the nuclear industry
