Trying to incorporate assessments that can fit the varied personality types will lead to high-esteem and better performance/
There is a common thread among all the various research, from Hippocrates and Jung to Don Lowry. Each of the research models shows the same personality types but in different ways. I find this very interesting.
Microblogs are used to involve students instead of developing an inactive classroom
When developing a rubric for wikis and blogs, for say embedding videos, and other media it should include the Purpose, the Content, How it was Organized, and Expression.
All good teaching involves assessment. Students need to understand the parameters of the assessment and rubrics can help. It is important to have to rubric directly connected to the Learning outcomes as well.
It is important to use both asynchronous and synchronous tools in the LMS.
It is very important for students to understand time management.
There are 3 types of ways to assess: diagnostic summative and formative. Each has its use and place. Through summative assessments, students demonstrate their knowledge. Formative assessment is part of the instructional process. Diagnostic lets the instructor understand what the student brings to the classroom
Make sure the right tools are used to be effective. Data gathered from students is the best way to ensure the quality of assessment.
