I ususally group them with outgoing and not so outgoing and switch roles when they see how much fun it can be. This allows the shy students to enjoy and then become part of the activity. We have a diverse group of learners here and I understand shyness but we are here to help them overcome those fears and breaking them in slowly without them realizing it is a great way.

Use some of these in my teaching already but great ideas to use to go off of in the future. Haven't thought of the shower cap that is great. Thank you for the new learning as I continue to learn everyday.

This class is very informative in new ideas to help build up your students as well as retention of students. Great course

This course was very helpful in many ways in our profession as instructors and found much of the information helpful. I will use all I have learned in my future that I do not already incorporate in my classrooms.

I also have seen other instructors allowing gossiping about the Campus and… >>>

We have cut down on homework per say as many were doing it all and others were not. I caught one whole class my first year in Medical Terminology making a word up for a… >>>

I have taught many students over the last few years and have run across some that are in the anger mode. I have learned to de-escalate the situation by calmly listening to them as well as making them feel like they matter. You never get angry with them I have learned in life not in teaching as it would only fuel the fire. I have also dealt with many students that are Veterans with issues of PTSD and TBI's and I feel I have handled them appropriately and they still come to me when they are having an off day.… >>>
