About me

I have 28yrs experience in the field as a designer pryer to joining Porter & Chester Institute, as Education Supervisor / Insturctor. Using softwares such as HP me10, Hp me30, Auto Cadd, Revit and SolidWorks. I have held positions in both the Machanical and Architectural fields and teach both subjects.  I also spent 13 yrs serving in the position as a Police Officer in CT.

Activity

It is important to teach your students the importants of honisty in there work and assignments.

The Student and instructor first have to assess there online ability's. Then the student has to be made aware of the amount of involvement is required in the taking of the course. 

The Rubrics are a very important and necessary tool for your course as well as student feedback to constantly adjust and inprove your course.

With any test it is important to provide feedback to the student. This type of practice should be followed all the time.

It shows just how important it is to always assess and re-assess the program to provide consistance improvement.

The on line tool help to choose what tools are best used to provide the best education for the student, this with feed back from the student will only help produce the best program possiable.

It is important to survey your students and the course by student feedback, are the students about average in there grades are they reaching grades that you would expect of are they below average this isone of the most important things to watch for to let you knoe that they are getting what you are presenting.

Eather course has to be set up so that the lessons can be understood and that you have provided the insentive for the student to want to learn. It also helps the student to know what is a head or what is expected of them.

That the teaching tool used should be easy to manuver, yet also be techinical enought to handle the subject matter it is to handle.

It is necessary to incorp multiple evaluation to truely develop a course that is providing the best and most current information to your student.
