Multiple evaluations are a great way to keep the course up to date, accurate, and it also encourages the instructor to perform their best.

It may take more time, to provide detailed feedback, but it really benefits the student.  It encourages the student to provide quality work and, thus the learning continues.

Good communication, clear direction, and scaffolding are imporant keys to use in the teaching process.  Thus the learner can be engaged and gradually learn the material.

In order to sucessfully teach your class, the teacher must keep in mind their audience.  Then, teach accordingly with various methods to capture all learner's attention.

I have learned that it is important to engage students in various avenues such as: in online discussions, fourums, synchronous meetings, etc.  At times, the online learner may feel disconnected and isolated.  So its important to engage them.

Quizes are great way to assess how well the student are retaining the knowledge learned and a great way to boost self of steem. 

It is important to have synchronous and asynchronous learning installed into your online class to keep the students engaged.

I leaned that the quality of an online class affects the how much learning takes place.  So, I plan to make my online classes with various interactive tools.

I really enjoyed learning about digital badges and portfollios.  These are just some more options to showcase one's skills and talents!

I plan to empower my students by starting each class with a refresher from the previos class.  I plan to promote group interactions and really get to know my students.  I will use this knowledge to highlight their strengths.
